MIU’s Nilai Campus is built on a 136-acre piece of land south of Kuala Lumpur. It is Malaysia’s first Green University, striving for GBI platinum certification and LEED platinum accreditation. Completed in early 2013, it will be transformed into a bustling community with a capacity of over 20,000 students, as well as hundreds of faculty and staff.
In its preliminary years, Manipal International University will offer Engineering as its focal school, along with Business and Life Sciences. These initial schools will be followed by others, which will include Humanities, Design, Law, Hospitality, Education, and Media and Communication amongst others.
