The Challange

Workspace wanted to upgrade their old BMS system which was basically an old Trend system from the 90s, with a black and white LED screen.

The facility managers and engineers did not have remote access and always had to go to the black and white screen to view data. Also they have had control issues with the biggest AHU serving the massive Atrium on the ground floor.

The Solution

We were the most cost effective solution offering the latest technology. We installed IP based controllers which was a massive speed upgrade over their old legacy controllers.

We installed an Optergy server and connected this remotely so their facility managers could access the site remotely. We developed all new graphics that made the system clear to use and interpret.

For the 1 AHU that had controls issues we discovered during the cutover that the zone temperature sensor was faulty and this was causing overheating and massive gas usage.
