Thank you for Attending Our "Create Smarter Buildings Today" Seminar
We would like to say thank you to all those that attended our Seminar on 31st May at the Singapore Novotel Clarke Quay.
We would like to thank all of you for taking the time to attend. We hope each and every one of you found the seminar helpful and informative and we look forward to working together in the future. It was a pleasure to meet all our attendees, you were a great group and your enthusiasm and positive spirits helped make our time together both productive and fun. It was great to also get to know you all further and gain deeper insight into what people want and the challenges facing those in the building industry.
A big thank you to our key speaker, Optergy President, Steven Guzelimian. We are grateful for the time and effort you took to share your thoughts and experiences in creating and working with smart buildings. Steven provided in-depth insight into combining BMS and EMS to create smarter buildings, as well as actionable and practical tools that have already been working for other buildings. A very insightful, engaging and practical seminar discussion, thank you Steven!
We know there are many choices available when it comes to deciding how to best drive building performance. So, how do you make the right choice, one that allows you to properly control your buildings and deliver real energy and cost savings?
The primary goal of this seminar was to bring together building leaders and HVACR professionals under one roof to discuss the development of the most simple, yet effective strategies to create smart buildings that provide more building control while increasing energy savings.
Key Session Topics:
1: Smart Buildings redefined; A strategy for success
- Why conventional building management may be sabotaging your efficiency, success and profitability, best practices in integration and how to extract optimal value from your building systems.
2: Why building & energy management belong together
- What Smart Integration means for your buildings and operations and how to use it to better your building and those tenants that work or live within it.
3: Case studies illustration
- How smarter buildings have already worked to successfully advance others.
During the session, we discussed and demonstrated how creating smarter buildings can provide you with future, guaranteed savings and energy reduction. We covered how to create smarter buildings through having one common platform with an automated system that unifies HVAC loads, lighting, security, energy management, automated reports, tenant billing and contextual alarms and dashboards. With this unified system you can then add end-user configurable applications that suit your operational needs. Once you've done that you can train your operators to use the tools they can use every day, that's when you will start to reap the benefits of smarter buildings!
The discussion highlighted that smarter buildings can provide benefits twofold, through energy savings and reduce costs and also increase the productivity and happiness of employees to the building tenants. For many, the majority of costs occurs through employees. By creating smarter buildings, the major resulting benefit is a more productive environment which increases worker effectiveness through an improved working environment, resulting in happier staff who are more efficient and take less sick time from work. It's a simple way to add certainty to your buildings AND add profit to your business.
Once again, thank you to those for being part of the seminar, your presence helped make it a great success. We wish you all the best. If you have any questions about the seminar, please contact us.
